H3 lectures will start in week 6 (29th July), and will be from 4.30-6.10pm on Tuesdays and 3.40-4.30pm on Thursdays at LT2. Lecture notes are not out yet, announcements will be made during regular H2 lectures when they are ready.
If you would like to take H3, you can sign up with me no matter what grade you got for your Physics common test. Currently, we will not disallow anyone from taking H3. However, do note that H3 will be tested for your promos, and depending on your performance during the promos (H3 as well as overall), you may be asked to drop H3 then.
There are 6 units of study in H3, and we will be teaching 3 of them (50% of the syllabus) this year. Therefore, we strongly recommend all interested to take H3 this year, and not opt for it after the promos, where only the last 3 units will be taught.
If you have to go for Chemistry consolidation you can still take H3. However, you must go for Chemistry consolidation instead of H3 on Thursdays. You can still attend the Tuesdays double period lesson. The onus will be on you to catch up with the Thursday H3 lesson you missed.
