I just realized that I had made a slight mistake when talking about the Phasor (to both 2K and 2D). The correct representation of a phasor should be:
Aeiθ
where A is the amplitude of the wave, θ
is the phase, e is the natural exponential and "i" is the square root of negative one (You will study this soon in maths under imaginary numbers).
I forgot to write the "i" just before the "θ
" when teaching this to my classes.
For mathematics buffs, the following equation is considered one of the most beautiful equations in all of mathematics. Can you tell me why?
